Vor'Taar: Invasion
Overview
Vor’Taar: Invasion is a rogue-lite tower defense experience set in space, blending classic defensive mechanics with tactical, action-packed mobility and long-term progression. Players defend orbital outposts in dynamic star systems against ever-escalating waves of alien invaders. Unlike traditional tower defense games, the player is not passive: a fully controllable Commander Ship actively engages in combat, gathers resources, and deploys powerful abilities to turn the tide in seconds.
Each run permanently empowers the player, unlocking new options and reshaping future attempts. The game aims to evoke the sense of scale, threat, uniqueness, and beauty of space, while deliberately maintaining an abstract aesthetic to ensure clarity and readability.

Contribution
Project Management
I led the project from GDD to it’s actual state, aligning the team through meetings, motivation, and market analysis. I crafted pitch documents and represented the game at events, ensuring a polished, innovative result.
Game Design
I designed core mechanics, levels, and fractions, blending tower defense with active gameplay. Research-guided decisions balanced innovation and clarity, creating a dynamic, rewarding experience.
Game User Experience Design
I established user-centered design principles and design goals, then crafted intuitive UI/UX for our game. Through user feedback design, user testing, and test evaluation, I ensured every interaction felt natural, accessible, and engaging prioritizing player needs at every step.
